This countdown features some of the most iconic characters from the franchise, spanning the generations from the beginning to the most recent titles. But seeing as how the community largely still views these creatures as Legendary Pokémon, we thought we would too. It should be noted for the more hardcore fans that we have included Mythical Pokémon, which are a related subset of extremely rare Pokémon that have been distinguished since the franchise’s fifth generation.
